Project Support Assistant

Location: Preston. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £27,000 depending on skills and experience

Responsibilities:

As a Project Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the implementation of key projects, particularly focusing on Policy Modernisation within Employee Services. Your duties will include:

  • Supporting specific policy modernisation projects aligned with the broader EBS operational and strategic vision, linked with the HRET Project.
  • Providing regular updates on project deliverables, highlighting risks and slippages against original plans.
  • Applying a strong focus on continuous improvement to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintaining a robust stakeholder communication network.
  • Supporting and ensuring adherence to change control and change management procedures, applying appropriate levels of change governance.
  • Collaborating with the Employee Lifecycle Change Lead to ensure the proper design, development, testing, and implementation of solutions.
  • Assisting in the delivery of training related to changes in processes and technology.
  • Supporting the creation of training material and other associated documentation for projects impacting processes and procedures.
  • Ensuring adherence to procedures and policies, including data protection and confidentiality guidelines.

Skills and Experiences:

Essential:

  • Strong Administration Background.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to plan and control your workload.
  • Ability to manage change.
  • Proven experience of working in an environment with conflicting priorities.

Desirable:

  • Operational experience, ideally in a Shared Service environment.
  • Knowledge of Employee Services team processes and policies.
  • Experience supporting projects.
